Complete details and rules
  • Fire Fighters will need standard structural bunker gear for the relay. (Bunker boots, pants, coat, hood, and helmet)
  • Airpacks will be provided to be worn while climbing, firefighters will not be breathing air off of the bottles though.
  • A 4 person team will have the first two firefighters in gear, with an airpack on their back and a fire fighting tool (provided) as a baton. One tool per two person crew. They will start in between the stairwells. The 2 person crew will walk to the first stairway and climb approximately 120 steps up stepping on every step. Next they will hoist up a rolled up section of hose with a rope to the top of the platform then lower the section back down to the ground. Then they will walk across the upper deck of the Ballpark, then down approximately 120 steps back to the starting line and hand off the baton to the second crew where they will repeat this process. Time starts when the first 2 person crew crosses the start/finish line, time ends when the second 2 person crew crosses the start/finish line.
  • There will be two timers for each team to ensure accuracy. The lesser of the two times will be recorded.
  • Trophies will be awarded for the top 2 fastest teams.
  • No running will be allowed. Each team member must step on every step.
  • Safety is our #1 priority. Second in importance, everyone MUST have fun!
